With this information, you may make a decision about the correctness of a statement, claim, or "fact." Statistical methods can help you make the "best educated guess."

This course provides an introduction to the chemistry of biological, inorganic, and organic molecules.ĺĘTheĺĘemphasis isĺĘon basic principles of atomic and molecular electronic structure, thermodynamics, acid-base and redox equilibria, chemical kinetics, and catalysis. In an effort to illuminate connections between chemistry and biology, a list of the biology-, medicine-, and MIT research-related examples used in 5.111 is provided in Biology-Related Examples. Principles of Chemistry I & II are LibGuides-based Open Courses with original lecture notes, chapter checklists, and original videos created by Georgia Highlands College faculty. The courses supplement the OpenStax Chemistry open textbook. The courses were created using a Round Nine Textbook Transformation Grant. Principles of Computer System Design: An Introduction is published in two parts. Part I, containing chapters 1-6, is a traditional printed textbook published by Morgan Kaufman, an imprint of Elsevier. Part II, containing chapters 7-11, is available here as an open educational resource. This textbook, an introduction to the principles and abstractions used in the design of computer systems, is an outgrowth of notes written for 6.033 Computer System Engineering over a period of 40-plus years. Individual chapters are also used in other EECS subjects. Deals with more advanced design theories and textual analysis. Emphasis on script analysis in general, as well as from a designer's perspective. Students also refine technical skills in rendering and presentation, historical research, and analysis. Class sessions include interaction with student/faculty directors and other staff designers. Goal is for students to approach text with a fresh vision and translate that vision into design for performance.

The Principles of Digital Animation course provides students with an awareness of animation and other 3D industries, as well as preliminary hands-on experience in animation production. This is a collection of openly licensed videos created by Gregory Marlow for the Principles of Digital Animation course taught during the Fall 2019 semester.
