A collaborative space to share and generate ideas for utilizing the Defined Learning resources to support CT K-12 educators with their work developing project-based learning (PBL) opportunities for their students. This group will provide a forum to share PBL strategies helping educators promote student success through inquiry and design thinking, formative and summative assessment, and project management. Administrators of the group will provide resources and best practices and members are encouraged to share their practical experiences with the group.

Defined Professional Learning Opportunity for CTE Educators

The CSDE, in partnership with Defined, will offer an introductory professional learning opportunity specifically designed for CTE teachers. This immersive and collaborative professional learning session is designed to introduce educators new to Defined Learning and Defined Careers to the resources available and best practices for implementation within their CTE program. The session will be held May 1^st from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM EST at 165 Capital Avenue, Hartford. Click here for more information and to register.

Defined Professional Learning Opportunity for Summer School

The CSDE, in partnership with Defined, will offer two professional learning opportunities focused on how to best utilize Defined Learning resources to engage students during the summer months. These immersive and collaborative professional learning sessions are designed to introduce educators with varying levels of familiarity with Defined Learning to best practices for using resources for summer enrichment. The first session will be held on May 14^th from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM EST at 165 Capital Avenue, Hartford. The second session with be held on May 15^th from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM EST at LEARN, 44 Hatchetts Hill Road, Old Lyme. Click here for more information and to register.
