A collaborative space to share and generate ideas for utilizing the Defined Learning resources to support CT K-12 educators with their work developing project-based learning (PBL) opportunities for their students. This group will provide a forum to share PBL strategies helping educators promote student success through inquiry and design thinking, formative and summative assessment, and project management. Administrators of the group will provide resources and best practices and members are encouraged to share their practical experiences with the group.

Defined Learning Deeper Dive- Save the Date

The CSDE, in partnership with Defined, will offer a professional learning opportunity for educators who have been utilizing the Defined Learning resources with students, or have attended introductory training (in-person or virtual) and would like to go deeper. This professional learning experience is designed to support Connecticut educators in leveraging the High-Quality Project Based Learning (HQPBL) framework and Defined Learning to shift culture, strengthen teaching practices, and bring deeper teaching and learning experiences to classrooms with considerations to career connections. Invite your instructional leader to join you. Bring any curricular materials or scope and sequence to help in the planning and preparation of Defined Learning performance tasks for use in your classroom.
