Defined Learning

A collaborative space to share and generate ideas for utilizing the Defined Learning resources to support CT K-12 educators with their work developing project-based learning (PBL) opportunities for their students. This group will provide a forum to share PBL strategies helping educators promote student success through inquiry and design thinking, formative and summative assessment, and project management. Administrators of the group will provide resources and best practices and members are encouraged to share their practical experiences with the group.

FREE Professional Learning on Defined Learning and Defined Careers in February

The CSDE, in partnership with Defined, will offer two introductory professional learning opportunities in February. Defined Learning and Defined Careers are two of the three components of the Defined ecosystem available to all CT districts at no cost.

Defined Learning- introduction to the standards-based resources and best practices for implementation. Held on February 27th from 9-2 at 165 Capital Ave. in Hartford.

Defined Careers- deepen an understanding of how to use Defined Careers in the classroom, in advisory, and for career pathways. The Defined Careers resources are aligned to 16 Career Clusters and 79 Career Pathways to provide broad exposure for students. The session will be held February 28th from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM EST at 165 Capital Avenue, Hartford.
